Bulgaria

Bulgaria is a beautiful and thriving country, where one can find churches, mosques and synagogues right next to each other.

Sofia

The Bulgarian language uses Cyrillic for the script.

recently the subway network has been expanded significantly

in Sofia almost all pavements have protection bars

Sofia hosts the Jewish synagogue

and couple of meters away mosque

and church right after, incredible.


An authentic shopping center in the center

the Bulgarian flags are very popular, they are everywhere

In Sofia you can see classical European architecture

along with communistic giant authoritative objects 

the mobile air quality laboratory roaming around

taxis are of bright yellow color

and finally the marvel of Sofia, the temple Sveta Paraskeva, Byzantine style church.

Plovdiv

From the first look Plovdiv feels very boring and typical soviet city, but it is not at all

the arrows pointing to sister towns over the world

Plovdiv hosts wonderful roman theater, one of the most well preserved one

the historical old town hosts traditional Bulgarian mansions.
